Chapter 04
Data & Crypto-native Model
The Crypto-native Model is the shared model foundation for DI’s products. It organizes information around crypto assets, events, narratives and behavior to support discovery, event analysis and strategy research.
Coverage and ongoing updates#
As of October 11, 2026, DI’s source coverage includes 8,000+ X accounts and 500+ media sources. The products combine real-time market data with ongoing news and social updates to help users identify research leads.
| Information | Research value |
|---|---|
| Market data | Observing asset prices and market changes |
| News and events | Establishing context, timing and subsequent developments |
| Social perspectives | Comparing narratives, expression and disagreements |
| On-chain and asset-related information | Adding context for market behavior and strategy research |
Market, news and social sources follow their respective update cycles, supporting market discovery and ongoing monitoring.
Turning material into useful context#
The data and model foundation connects information to a research subject. Event research examines background, evidence and disagreements; strategy research examines relationships between variables, assumptions and results.
Sources remain essential to assessment. A generated explanation cannot replace the original evidence or turn an unverified claim into a fact.
Products and compute#
Data and models support the dashboard, simulations and quant tools. Computing resources support processing, model calls and research tasks.
